Quartered Walnut Veneer Desk

Quartered Walnut Veneer Desk

This quartered walnut desk represents the standard we hold every project to — a perfect book-match with consistent color, tight grain registration, and flawless seaming. Quartered walnut is cut perpendicular to the growth rings, producing the straight, uniform figure prized by architects and designers for high-end millwork. Each leaf is hand-selected from the same flitch to guarantee continuity across every panel. Whether it is a single executive desk or a 200-sheet conference room installation, we approach every order with the same attention to grain direction, color matching, and edge quality. This is not a catalog photo — this is a finished piece that left our shop floor.

Architectural Plywood — Radius Walls

Architectural Plywood — Radius Walls

Custom two-ply architectural plywood with radius wall capability. We specialize in bending and curving veneer-faced panels for seamless radius installations — hotel lobbies, elevator cabs, curved columns, and feature walls. Our two-ply construction uses a flexible backer with a premium face veneer, allowing the panel to conform to tight radii without cracking or telegraphing. Each sheet is pressed to order, matched in sequence, and shipped flat for field bending or pre-formed in our shop to your template specifications. Thirty years of radius work means we have seen every curve, every substrate, and every adhesive challenge. We do not guess — we engineer the layup for your specific radius and environment.

Walnut Crotch Book-Match

Walnut Crotch Book-Match

Hand-matched walnut crotch book-match veneer assembly. Every flitch is inspected, sequenced, and spliced by hand to preserve the natural symmetry of the grain. Walnut crotch comes from the fork where the trunk divides — producing dramatic, feathered figure that is impossible to replicate. We purchase entire logs to control the sequence from slicing through final assembly. Each leaf is joined with precision — no gaps, no overlap, no wavering seam lines. The result is a mirror-image panel that becomes the centerpiece of any room. Crotch veneer is rare and becoming rarer as old-growth walnut supplies tighten. We maintain one of the largest inventories of premium crotch flitches in the region.

Fumed Eucalyptus

Fumed Eucalyptus

Fumed quartered curly eucalyptus — the ammonia fuming process deepens the natural color and accentuates the curly figure, producing rich chocolate and espresso tones that are impossible to replicate with stain or dye. The fuming reacts with the natural tannins in the wood, so every sheet develops its own character while maintaining consistency across the flitch. Curly eucalyptus already has one of the most dramatic figures in the veneer world — tight, rolling waves that catch light from every angle. Fuming takes it further, adding depth and contrast between the peaks and valleys of the curl. We stock fumed eucalyptus in quartered, flat-cut, and burl configurations for wall panels, cabinetry, and architectural millwork.

Wall Coverings — Rift White Oak Parquet

Wall Coverings — Rift White Oak Parquet

Rift white oak parquet wall covering panels. Precision-cut geometric patterns mounted on flexible backing for architectural wall installations. Each tile is rift-cut for straight, consistent grain with minimal fleck — the clean, modern look that designers specify for lobbies, boardrooms, and hospitality projects. Our parquet panels arrive ready to install — peel, position, press. The flexible backing conforms to minor wall irregularities while the veneer face delivers the warmth and texture of real wood. We produce parquet in standard patterns — herringbone, chevron, basket weave — and custom layouts to your design. White oak takes finish beautifully, from natural clear coat to wire-brushed grey to fumed dark brown.

About Rosebud Veneer

About Rosebud Veneer

Our Louisville warehouse stocks thousands of veneer flitches — inspected, graded, and ready to ship. Over 30 years of sourcing relationships with mills worldwide means we see the best logs before they hit the open market. Every flitch in this warehouse has been hand-graded by our team for color, figure, and yield. We do not sell sight-unseen — every order ships with photos of the actual material. When you buy from Rosebud, you are buying from people who have spent their careers touching, grading, and matching wood veneer. We know what quartered sapele looks like at 8 AM under warehouse lights and what it looks like at 2 PM in a finished conference room. That knowledge is what separates us from a catalog.
